Quality is monitored and maintained throughout the process, from Day 1 of every project.
The QA Department is a separate central resource and organization within SCT, and is equally responsible for project success as development. The QA Lead is primarily responsible for Quality Management and Process Monitoring.
Lead develop Test Plans and work assignments as required for the scale of project, during early project stage. Lead also decides on the level of QA involvement required and areas of emphasis, testing and development co-ordination strategies and Acceptance Criteria for each Stage as well as Project Acceptance.
Test Suites and Test Cases are developed as set forth in the Test Plan. Black-box and regression testing are commonly followed, though Automation testing as may suit some projects.
As part of our quality process, QA also monitors projects for process compliance, and gathers metrics relevant to the project.
The QA/testing team uses HP QC for bug management and reporting. HP QC displays data about bug status and movement, based on historical statistics and current movement. HP QC also allows process monitoring and secured open sharing of project plans.
